# I've not had a bed side lamp for years but, to better facilitate writing by hand rather than by phone, I dug one out of our spare room.
They say you should always keep a pen and pad by your bed but it's no good if it's too dark to use them.

# Non-posting days are like buses - you wait for ages then two come together.
I'm going through a patch where I just don't have anything to write. But that's okay. Better to not write and be comfortable with it than post rubbish.
The likes of Seth Godin turn up every day without fail but it's not for everyone. It's actually not for a lot of people.
There's an art and commitment to constant output - sometimes we just can't support it but that's nothing to be ashamed of, whether we miss the odd day or don't post for ages.
@colinwalker the backlighting on pen and paper is crap, but the battery life is amazing.
@desparoz ?
@colinwalker I have always a staple of A6 sheets and a pencil next to my bed. I can write short notes in the dark and even read them next morning :)
Haha. I'm not that advanced. I still try and write in the dark--and hope I'll be able to understand it in the morning. :)
Ha! My handwriting is indecipherable at the best of times. I don’t dare write in the dark - it would look as though a dance troupe of spiders had created a piece of performance art by walking in ink before doing some post-contemporary routine on the paper! ?
