The archive contains older posts which may no longer reflect my current views.

# There are some posts you are proud of because they are well written, contain good ideas, or employ clever metaphors or analogies.

However, congratulating yourself on just your "wordsmithing" is a little empty, a short lived dopamine hit that's gone almost as soon as it arrives.

Then there are posts that transcend this vacuity, that have genuine meaning or purpose. Posts that, in the words of Ryan Holiday, "connect to something big." It doesn't have to be massive, just "something bigger than yourself" - something that drives, invigorates, gets the blood pumping and the creative juices flowing.

But that's only the beginning. As Seth Godin states:

"Making promises is a fun way to get someone's attention. Keeping those promises is often unsung, but that's how you build something."

# If you can see this then the blog has been successfully migrated to the new host. I've unfortunately lost one comment (sorry Nitin) as it was posted after the site was migrated but obviously before the DNS change propagated.

# I've got to re-upload a few assets from the root of the domain. The migration wouldn't know about them being manual uploads outside of the WordPress environment but, apart from that, it was pretty painless.

Done. Everything should now be back to normal.

# I suspect that DNS isn't quite done. Feedbin and micro.blog haven't picked up the last couple of posts.
