# After writing about the Today page yesterday I lay in bed and, before dropping off to sleep, thought "what if I add On This Day to every day instead of just Today?" It will mean updating the archive template and also the 404 template for when the day browsed doesn't have posts. Should be pretty simple.

Each "day" archive will now show an "On this day" section (subject to there being posts) as well as the 404 page when there are no posts on the given day. The section will exclude those from the specific day so as not to double up, i.e. 23/1/2018 would show posts from the 23rd Jan excluding 2018 and so on.
